This course provides the essentials to build a successful shoreline response in the field and the tools to minimise environmental impact.

The course was created to provide skills and a holistic view of Wildlife Response during oil spill incidents. The main objective is to relate Wildlife Planning and Response Strategies to the wider oil spill response, for example, viewing Wildlife Response, not in isolation but rather as an integral aspect to the totality of the response effort.

The 4-day intensive course will provide you with an IMO Level 3 equivalent accreditation, the course will give an in-depth discussion on advanced technical topics.

Designed for remote delivery this On-Scene Commander’s Course covers both the strategic and tactical elements of oil spill response.

This remote course aims to develop sound knowledge of the tools and techniques used during crisis management, allowing you to confidently implement a crisis management structure and perform the required responsibilities during a crisis scenario.
Microsoft Teams is preferred (If this is an issue other remote platform can be discussed)

This remote course provides insights on the complexities that can be encountered in an oil spill incident and the relevant tools to overcome these.

This Remote course covers both the strategic and tactical elements of oil spill response, allowing you to make effective and efficient decisions as part of the Incident Management Team or On Scene Commander.
Duration of course: 2 x 4.5-hour sessions, on consecutive days.
If you work for a UK Port and Harbour this course will refresh the knowledge you acquired on your previous MCA course. This course provides you with revalidation of MCA Level 3/3P, MCA Level 4/4P and MCA level 5/5P Certifications.
4.5 hours (4 hours training delivery + 0.5 hour for administration, assessment, etc)
This BEIS-accredited remote training course aims to explain oil spill response and raise awareness of stakeholder engagement for those undertaking dialogue with responsepersonnel and external bodies such as BEIS/OPRED, MCA, SOSREP and other government agencies.
Preferred IT Platform: The ‘Zoom’ software is preferred for remote training. However, if there are difficulties using or accessing this then other software options can be discussed.
