Astrid has spent over 30 years in the oil and gas business with professional experience ranging from offshore operations, field development, exploration, strategy & business development to marketing and trading. Since 2020, she has worked primarily with transition strategies to a more sustainable energy system. She has held numerous senior and executive management positions and is currently Senior Advisor in Equinor's Expert Centre for technology, digitalisation and innovation and Director Industrial Relations in NTNU Energy Transition Initiative. During 2013-2016 Astrid was the Senior Vice President and head of Statoil’s joint operations for the Norwegian Continental Shelf responsible for the economy of scale operations including logistics and emergency response. She has also served as Chairperson of the Board of the Norwegian Clean Seas Association for Operating Companies (NOFO). Astrid holds an MSc in petroleum engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, NTNU.

Shairizal has spent more than 20 years in the Oil & Gas industry within PETRONAS, managing various Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) technical and leadership roles across PETRONAS’ Upstream and Downstream businesses, Project & Construction as well as the Corporate sector. He was assigned to PETRONAS Carigali Iraq BV in 2014, managing Garraf Operations, where he led the team to be the first IOC collaboration with Iraq government in establishing Iraq’s National Hazardous Waste Facilities. Under his leadership, Garraf Operations demonstrated improved HSE management and performance and received various recognitions.
He has a broad range of technical capabilities including environmental management, technical design & engineering safety, HSE in construction, risk management, audit, emergency management, contractor management, culture transformation, digital transformation strategy and performance. His current position as Head, Strategy & Performance, PETRONAS Group HSE overlooks the HSE strategy development and management for continuous HSE value creation and sustainable HSE performance for the company.
He holds a B Eng in Chemical Process and Masters in Business Law. He is also an appointed Educational Panel Advisor for the National University of Malaysia and an Executive Member of SPE Middle East.

Angela is the Global Enterprise Manager of Emergency Management. She has more than 20 years of experience in Crisis Management, Emergency Management, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Information Technology, and Cybersecurity. She currently has oversite of the Emergency Management Program delivering enterprise support for Emergency Preparedness and Response, Crisis Management, and Business Continuity to Chevron’s Global Business Units. She serves on Chevron’s World-wide Emergency Response Team. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Marine Preservation Association. She is a member of American Petroleum Institute-Spill Advisory Group, and the International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association-Oil Spill Response. She holds a degree in Occupational Safety & Health from Columbia Southern University. She is an industry expert holding Technical Certifications in Business Continuity and Resilience from the Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII), the International Consortium for Organizational Resilience (ICOR), Business Resilience Certification Consortium International (BRCCI), the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) and Leadership in Crises from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Prior to Chevron, Angela was the Founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of MiraTrac, Inc, a software and consulting company focused on Crisis Management and Business Continuity. She directed company operations for domestic and international clients in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Latin America, and Africa.

André holds a civil engineering degree from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and has spent 38 years within TotalEnergies E&P Branch, including 20 years in various international postings. After having spent the initial third of his career in Drilling and Wells operations, he has fulfilled a number of different management positions. It included the position of Director of Angola Block 17, one of the major deepwater assets of the industry. He was for the last 5 years the Senior Vice President for Development and Support to Operations and a member of TotalEnergies E&P Board of Directors. Over the same period, he was also President of TotalEnergies Well Response. Since the beginning of 2020, he is Special Advisor to the President E&P.

Iman Hill is a Petroleum Engineer with 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry with extensive global expertise in the technical and commercial aspects of the petroleum business, in particular field development, capital projects and production operations. She gained extensive experience in the Middle East, North and West Africa, South America, the Far East and the North Sea in a number of diverse settings from onshore to ultra-deep water. She began her career with BP and worked in a variety of technical positions before becoming a Senior Reservoir Engineer. In 1995 she joined Shell International where she held positions such as Senior Regional Adviser Africa to the E&P CEO and the Chairman of Shell as well as GM Shell Egypt and Chairwoman of Shell Companies in Egypt. As Senior Vice President Brasil, Iman also led BG Group’s first ultra-deep water development of the super-giant Santos Basin pre-salt fields. Additionally, at BG, as SVP Developments and Operations, Iman was responsible for driving top quartile performance in maturing developments to sanction, well engineering and operations. Iman has also held the positions of VP Africa at Sasol and Technical Director, GM UAE and President Egypt for Dana Gas in the UAE, where she also ran the one of the Egyptian join ventures in her role as Managing Director and Board member of The Egyptian Bahraini Gas Derivatives Company.
Iman has held a number of Board positions during her career including as a Non-Executive Director at Outokumpu, Europe’s largest steel manufacturer and EMGS. She is currently an independent non-executive director on the Board of United Oil and Gas, an AIM listed E&P company.

Brian has an MBA qualification and his career experience includes managing high risk activities both at sea and onshore, in Upstream and Downstream Businesses, including leadership roles in HSSE and Oil Spill Emergency Response. His early career, and chosen profession, was as a seafarer when he spent 14 years mainly on oil tankers in many parts of the world, joining the Shell seagoing fleet in 1988. During the subsequent 20 years with Shell, he has held mainly maritime related roles, including UK LPG marine export terminal manager, North Sea shuttle tanker contracts & operations advisor, Global Maritime Audit team leader, and Global Lead on Upstream maritime operations. His current position encompasses global Oil Spill Preparedness & Response and also HSSE accountability for global Trading & Shipping.

Joelson holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and specialises in Exploration and production equipment. He also has a master’s of business administration in Corporate Management.
Joelson has been working for Petrobras for the last 35 years and has an extensive experience in Exploration and Production, managing different business units (onshore/offshore) and working in many other Brazilian States. He also participated in the construction and assembly of two semi‐submersible platforms to operate in deep waters.
From 2015 to 2021, Joelson was the executive in charge of Production in Campos Basin and Santos Basin, in deep and ultra‐deep waters. Since June 2021, he has been in charge of Petrobras's Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), including activities in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production, Refining, Supply of Natural Gas, Generation of Energy Electricity and Transportation. HSE covers the entire Company and includes defining the guidelines for the HSE management system, continuous improvement projects, and the environmental licensing process for Petrobras’ facilities and activities. In contingency planning, Joelson looks after company emergency response preparedness, including a coastal response structure based on the Environment Defense Centers (CDA), comprising 16 operational bases located in different regions of Brazil.

Mahmood has held various posts within the NOGA Holding including lead of the NOGA Holding Oil Spill Response Team where he played a major role in finalising the Company’s contingency plan.

Jasper has enjoyed a diverse 20+ year career in the BP wells organisation, working in engineering and operational teams delivering offshore subsea, completion and intervention activity. He has held numerous technical and leadership roles and is currently BP’s global source control advisor responsible for requirements associated with loss of well control and emergency response. Jasper holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical & Offshore Engineering from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen and is a Chartered Engineer with the IMechE.

He has over 27 years of experience in Eni in the Finance, Planning and Control area, in a number of countries such as Libya, Ecuador, the USA, Indonesia, and Egypt, with considerable experience working within different financial regulatory environments worldwide.
Currently, he is Eni UK Finance Director. He has overall responsibility for Planning, Economic Evaluation, Investment Monitoring, Budgeting, Cost Control, Reporting, Company and Business Performance Measurement, Accounting, Treasury, JV Accounting and Auditing, Taxes, Systems and Procedures for all the Companies of the UK E&P Business, in accordance with legal and contractual requirements and with Eni regulations and accounting standards.

Kitchai holds a BEng degree in Petroleum Engineering and MBA. He has spent more than 30 years in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in green and brown field development management, onshore and offshore operations leadership, organisational capability management, development planning coordination, corporate strategy, and decision analysis. In August 2017, Kitchai joined PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Limited, where he held serval positions such as Senior Vice President for Thai Offshore Asset, Head of Corporate Strategy Division and Project Head of G1/G2 Asset Transition Project, which was the first PSC in Thailand. During 2005-2017 Kitchai worked in Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production Ltd and Asia South Business Unit. He had several leadership positions in Asset Management and served as General Manager of Reservoir Management, Organizational Capability and Technical Management.

Vania has spent over 20 years in the oil and gas business with professional experience in engineering, operations and process safety. Vania began her career at Imperial College as the head of the scientific team developing fire and explosion models. She continued to become an executive and has spent the majority of her career working for BP, most recently as the Vice President of Operations for Mauritania and Senegal. She has worked in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East while leading teams that were geographically and culturally diverse. Vania played a key role in the response to the Deepwater Horizon incident in the Gulf of Mexico and has led operational crises in other regions. In 2023 she was appointed CEO of Oil Spill Response Limited.
Vania holds a Master's degree in Process Engineering from the University of Padua and a PhD in Thermophysics from Ecole Nationale Superieure de Mines de Paris.

With a first degree in Physics, Rob also holds a Masters Degree in Process Safety and Loss Prevention. Rob was Managing Director of an environmental technology spin off from a major nuclear corporation before moving into the waste management services sector, where he had some six years experience as the General Manager of a growing hazardous waste business.
Rob joined OSRL in 2003 and has been a key part of the rapid growth of its preparedness and response services. He was instrumental in establishing a rigorous approach to recruitment and putting in place new competence-based training programmes. He has overseen OSRL’s responses to major oil spills, such as the Tasman Spirit, Macondo and Bonga incidents.
As OSRL grew, Rob focussed on the delivery of Response services as Regional Director, EMEA until 2021, when he moved to the role of Commercial Director, taking responsibility for the management and development of our preparedness activities, and driving stakeholder engagement, communication and outreach activities.
Finance Director

After graduating from Southampton university as a bachelor of law Richard spent over 10 years at PwC qualifying as a chartered accountant and working with a portfolio of regional and international business. Richard joined OSRL in 2015 as Group Financial Controller before being appointed as Finance Director in June 2019. As Finance Director of OSRL he has overall responsibility for all financial matters of the Group. This includes financial control, reporting both internally and to shareholders; the annual business planning and budget processes; and the communication with members of changes to annual subscription rates. Richard also works with external providers to ensure appropriate financial facilities are in place to support the Group's Response and Preparedness activities.
SWIS Director
Andy has 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry predominantly on capital projects for field developments with a subsea focus. Andy has worked for detailed design houses, concept / front end consultancy companies, installation contractors, and most recently at ConocoPhillips being responsible for the subsea scope of the Jasmine HP/HT field development, the Enochdhu field development and the latest phases of the Britannia Satellites project deliveries (including a 3rd party tie-back topside modifications scope).
Andy joined the OSRL Subsea Well Intervention Service (SWIS) organisation full-time in early 2018 in a global role as Engineering Manager with the prime accountability of maintaining the response readiness of the SWIS equipment for subscribers.
As of 2019, Andy has held the role of SWIS Director having overall accountability for the OSRL subsea business.
Regional Director (Asia Pacific)
Darren has spent more than 10 years in various capacities in Spill Response, Training & Consultancy and Business Development. He has been involved in the oil spill response industry for the last 14 years and gained considerable experience from responding to oil spill incidents around the world.
Darren holds a background in engineering and has previously managed the OSRL Training Function and Business Development Teams. He is now the Asia Pacific Regional Director for OSRL with responsibility for the oversight of personnel and service delivery in the region.
Regional Director (Europe, Middle East and Africa)
Matt is responsible for the management of all personnel and services delivered in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. Matt joined OSRL in 1999 and has held positions in Operations, Preparedness and SWIS, both in the UK and Singapore. Matt was previously the SWIS Director responsible for developing and delivering the Subsea Well Intervention Service and most recently the Supply Chain Management and Resources Director. He has an engineering background as well as an MBA from Southampton University.
Regional Director (Americas)
Michael is responsible for OSRL’s service delivery throughout the Americas. He joined OSRL in 2014, initially serving as Duty Manager and most recently as Regional Manager for the Middle East. Prior to joining OSRL, Michael served 20+ years in the U.S. Coast Guard in both operational and staff tours, all within the marine safety program. He holds a B.S. from the University of Maryland and a M.S. from the University of Houston, both in Chemical Engineering.
HR Director
Neil is responsible for the development of the Company's people strategies which include recruitment, career development, performance management and employee engagement.
Prior to joining OSRL, he was HR Director for a global consultancy and contracting organisation, within the infrastructure and real estate sectors. He has held similar HR leadership and line management roles in the construction, industrial and oil and gas sectors. Neil is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building.
Supply Chain Management and Resources Director
Simon has responsibility for the Supply Chain & Resources Group; this includes our global aviation assets/services, the logistics & travel group, facilities and maintenance, the resourcing team, and the procurement team.
His previous roles include OSRL Commercial Director, business development and project management positions in marine services and subsea construction companies. Simon was the Project Director responsible for implementing the full Subsea Well Intervention Service, Global Dispersant Stockpile, and all other supplementary services. Simon is also a Naval Architect and Chartered Engineer.
