OSRL is collaborating with our partners IPIECA, Sea Alarm and the Global Response Network (GRN) to showcase industry collaboration on a shared platform at Booth #617 at the International Oil Spill Conference (IOSC) and Exhibition.  This triennial conference takes place in Long Beach, California on May 15 to 18, 2017. 

The IOSC provides a vital forum for professionals from the international response community, private sector, government, and non-governmental organizations to come together to enhance the collective knowledge and understanding of oil spills, achieved through the exchange of ideas and lessons learned from actual spill responses and research around the world.  

OSRL will have a significant profile at the event, presenting eight papers and six posters together with chairing seven conference sessions. We will be collaborating with ExxonMobil and Owens Coastal Consultants to deliver educational short courses on dispersants and Shoreline Clean-up Assessment Techniques (SCAT) respectively.  We will also be entering a new film on the revolutionary B727 jet aircraft dispersant spraying system to the IOSC film festival.
