This overview details OSRL procedures which ensure the Offset Installation Equipment (OIE) is ready for use. Following sections cover storage and maintenance in more detail.
Introduction
Storage
OSRL is responsible for the storage, maintenance and testing of the OIE.
OSRL will ensure all SWIS equipment is prepared to be mobilised if a member requires it. Full maintenance routines have been implemented for the equipment and are carried out in accordance with industry best practice.
Mobilisation Ready
Mobilisation procedures are in place and fully exercised to ensure that the equipment is prepared to be deployed with minimal delay.
It is important that members also have plans and procedures in place that are tested to ensure that the notification, mobilisation and deployment process can be carried out effectively.
Are you ready?
Do you have tested notification, mobilisation and deployment plans and procedures in place?
