Shahreena is a consultant at OSRL Singapore and is responsible for the development and management of oil spill preparedness projects in the region.
She has a background in Industrial Chemistry and has delivered numerous projects including contingency plans, oil spill preparedness workshops, training and incident management exercises across the Asia Pacific Region. During this time, she has worked closely with governmental agencies, as well as national and international oil companies.
She also attended to a number of local oil spill incidents from which she gained extensive field experience, during her stint as a Spill Responder. Prior to joining OSRL, Shahreena was the regional human health risk assessor (HHRA) for Asia Pacific region at an environmental consultancy firm.
