COVID-19 Update - 12th October 2020
Unfortunately, we have three confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in the OSRL Brazil team. We are pleased to report that currently all personnel are experiencing very mild symptoms or are asymptomatic and are in good spirits. All personnel are now isolating in accordance with guidelines.
All activities at the Brazil site have stopped as of close of business Friday 2nd October. Prior to work stopping at site, all critical capping stack maintenance activities had been completed. The equipment remains response ready. We are deferring any residual scope from the planned Brazil maintenance to 2021. In the event of a mobilisation request we would supplement local resources with team members from Norway (there is no required quarantine between Norway to Brazil). Local resources affected will hopefully return to availability later this month after period of isolation.
We will undertake an after action review to ascertain whether there are any lessons learnt from these cases.
Following on with our Country Plan developments, we have updated 3 plans; Denmark, Ghana and Ivory Coast. All our country plans are available here.
Once again, we invite Members to join us for a free webinar, with the upcoming topic being 'No Such Thing as a Bad Exercise?
