We are pleased to announce the implementation of a new and dynamic Executive Team structure that will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of Oil Spill Response. This restructuring initiative reflects our commitment to adapt to evolving market conditions and position ourselves as leaders in the industry.

Developed through extensive collaboration with internal stakeholders and in partnership with external experts, this restructured Executive Team is strategically designed to meet our long-term objectives and deliver an excellent service to our members.

Effective from 10th July, the following key changes will take effect:

1. Response Director: Andy Myers will assume the newly created role of Response Director. Leveraging his extensive expertise, Andy will oversee and enhance our response operations on a global scale. His primary focus will be to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of all SLA, SWIS, and Supplementary response services to our valued customers.

2. Preparedness Director: Joining the Executive Team, Emily Foley will take on the newly created role of Preparedness Director. Emily's deep understanding of consulting, technology, and market trends will be instrumental in driving innovation and elevating our service offerings. Her responsibilities will include directing the Preparedness Business Services.

3. Financial Director: Richard Morrish will continue his role as Financial Director. Richard will provide invaluable financial leadership and strategic guidance as we navigate our growth journey. Furthermore, the procurement function will now be integrated into the finance directorate, streamlining our financial operations.

4. Engagement Director: Darren Waterman will assume the crucial role of Engagement Director, responsible for fostering strong relationships with our external oil spill preparedness and response stakeholders. Darren's expertise and extensive network will play a vital role in promoting OSRL membership and engaging with industry associations, partners, government regulators, and other stakeholders. Based in Singapore, his proximity to the Middle East and Asia will ensure close collaboration with the growing E&P activities in these regions.

5. People and Places Director: Neil Gates will retain his position as People and Places Director, driving our people and culture strategies forward. In addition, he will continue to lead the management of our office facilities portfolio, including the exciting Footprint of the Future project.
