Build confidence to fulfil your role in an Incident Management Team (IMT) or Incident Command Post (ICP) and gain an appreciation of the other IMT/ICP roles.

With a syllabus designed specifically for the Oil and Gas industry this course focuses on developing effective response strategies that will improve the success of the response and ensure an efficient incident response using the most capable response resources. This course will give you the skills to be able to demonstrate baseline oil spill response knowledge, equip you with the skills to develop strategies for varying scenarios and give you an ability to create effective Incident Action Plans.

By using proven educational theories on adult learning (Andragogy), we have designed a course focussed on communicating information that ensures high levels of interactivity and engagement. By applying these techniques we can ensure greater retention of knowledge, recalling and using that information in a time of crisis thus allowing an individual to perform to their highest level.

This industry leading Response Strategy Masterclass is perfect for Incident Management Team (IMT) members who do not need to be oil spill technical experts, but need to appreciate aspects of spill response that relate to and are relevant for their specific role in an IMT.

This course will give you the skills to be able to demonstrate baseline oil spill response knowledge. You will be able to explain how to develop a strategy for a given scenario and respond to the realities of an oil spill. A real tangible outcome of this course is the ability to be able to create an effective Incident Action Plan (IAP).
