UKCS On-Scene Commander (OPEP Level 1)

    Acquire skills in predicting oil movement and quantifying oil slicks whilst familiarising yourself with offshore spill reporting procedures mandated by OPRC, MARPOL, and UK legislation, including completing the PON 1 reporting pro-forma.

  • Coordination and Collaboration

    Understand the critical role of the Secretary of State’s Representative (SOSREP) in spill response.
