This course will cover the tactical elements of oil spill response, reinforcing the theory training by completing a practical deployment of response equipment. it completes all the necessary requirements to attain the accredited IMO Level 2 Course when the theory training has been completed by OSRL remote training.
It will build on the theory and allow delegates to make suitable decisions based on a given scenario where they can decide on the relevant tactical response and the equipment necessary to mitigate the impacts, this will build individuals knowledge, competence and team building.
This open course has been developed to complement the On-Scene Commanders course and delegates working anywhere around the globe who has undertaken the theory can complete this practical training at anyone of OSRL’s bases.

To attend this course, you must have completed the Remote On-Scene Commanders course.
