As a front line response having the skills and knowledge to implement an offshore response safely and effectively is vital. Develop both your knowledge of the different principles and practical skills focusing on the strategies and tactics of offshore vessel response and coordination.

This course develops your awareness of the areas of responsibility that will need to be addressed and communicated between on-site response staff and the On-Scene Commander. The course includes an offshore deployment exercise enabling you to apply new knowledge in a practical scenario. 

This IMO Level 1 equivalent standard training course is essential training for supervisors wanting to understand the latest spill response techniques and the use of essential equipment to successfully engage in marine or vessel spills happen offshore.

This course focuses on the essentials of oil spill response from fates and effects of oil spills and the surveillance of oil at sea, through to response strategies and practical deployment of response equipment.
