Dong Xin
Training and Consultancy Team Manager (APAC)
Dong Xin joined OSRL in 2010. She is accountable for training and consultancy project delivery in APAC.
She has led numerous projects delivered across the region and globally, in which she worked closely with many key stakeholders ranging from government agencies to national and international oil companies. She was the lead consultant helping the government authority to develop National Oil Spill Contingency Plan for one of the ASEAN countries. She is one of the IPIECA nominated trainers, promoting industry good practice on oil spill preparedness and response in the APAC region.
She also supports Response Department during actual mobilisation and has responded to oil spills in Singapore and in the region. Prior to joining OSRL, she had worked both in China and in Singapore in the environmental planning and water research area.
She holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from the National University of Singapore, as well as a Master and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Tsinghua University in China.
