Mobilisation Methods

Here you can find out how the Offset Installation Equipment (OIE) can be transported - by sea, road or air.

OSRL will work in conjunction with the Incident Owner to ensure an efficient and effective response is delivered in proportion to the incident. The response will be coordinated by the OSRL SWIS Manager through OSRL's Emergency Operations Centre.
The OIE can be transported by sea, road or air. It is stored in a partially disassembled state.

If the OIE is required to be transported by sea OSRL and Saipem will fully assemble the carrier and deliver it to the quayside at the SWIS Trieste Base for collection by the Incident Owner.

If the OIE is required to be transported by air OSRL and Saipem will disassemble the carrier and deliver to the cargo handlers at either Brescia Airport (VBS) or Malpensa Airport (MXP) airports for collection by the Incident Owner.

If the OIE is required to be transported by road OSRL and Saipem will disassemble the carrier at the SWIS Trieste Base for collection by the Incident Owner.
