Shahreena is a Senior Consultant within OSRL based in Singapore and is responsible for the development and management of oil spill preparedness projects in the region. She has developed and delivered numerous projects including contingency plans, oil spill preparedness workshops and incident management exercises across Asia Pacific and African regions. During this time, she has worked closely with government agencies, national and international oil companies.
She has also been involved in delivering several training courses, and was the Course Director for an IMO Level 3 training held in Moscow, Russia and Oiled Wildlife Response Training held in Brunei.
Prior to assuming her current role, she worked as a Spill Responder with OSRL attending a number of oil spill incidents in the region, gaining extensive field experience.
Shahreena holds a joint Master of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry from the National University of Singapore and Technical University of Munich.
