El Equipo de Logística Global (GLT) está formado por 10 personas ubicadas en una variedad de nuestras bases en todo el mundo (Reino Unido, Noruega y Singapur). James holds the position of Global Logistics Manager, managing a team of personnel within OSRL who are responsible for the movement of cargo and personnel across the business. In addition to the movement of cargo and travel, the Global team also deliver consultancy services to members, solving complex cargo transportation and travel solutions as part of preparedness activity. James has worked for OSRL for 14 years in several positions including Subsea Well Intervention Services Manager (SWIS), Operations & Logistics Lead for the establishment of OSRL’s SWIS division and also carried out response roles across the world including West Africa and Bahrain. A Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (holding Chartered status), James holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management. Before joining OSRL, James worked in technical roles within the oil & gas and automotive industries.
Øistein has been with OSRL since 2012 and is currently the SWIS Base Manager at OSRL in Norway and a member of the Global Logistics Team. He is responsible for the base, personnel, equipment operational readiness and cargo movement. Øistein has 25 years of experience in the logistics industry, with 14 years in the Grieg group, as Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Key Account Manager and General Manager of Grieg Logistics Asian development based in Singapore. His focus areas have been oil & gas logistics, re-supply, “high & heavy” project Cargo and project management.
Yei Ling is an Incident Manager at OSRL at our Singapore base and is involved in managing the movement of personnel and equipment to various countries during emergency oil spill responses. She is an experienced logistician and holds a BSc (Hons) in Maritime Studies and MSc in Logistics. Yei Ling currently leads a team managing peacetime logistics for the company. She has also authored conference papers and presented at International Oil Spill Conferences and Technical Forums in the Asia Pacific region and globally.
David works within the Global Logistics Team (GLT) at the Southampton, UK office. He is the subsea lead within the GLT and helps members to plan and mobilise SWIS equipment. An experienced logistician with more than 35 years working in this chosen field, David holds a BSc (Hons) in Supply Chain Management. In the past, David has supported forum events on behalf of OSRL and has project managed the writing of Logistics Execution Plans (LEPs) to support members drilling campaigns.
Kate works within the Global Logistics Team at the Southampton, UK office. She has been with OSRL for five years now and is IATA (International Air Transport Association) accredited. Kate is currently undertaking her Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport qualification Level 3. In her day to day role, Kate is responsible for our Equipment Hire Services and Business as Usual cargo movements. As part of the GLT, Kate handles the global movement of cargo in the event of a response.
Mark is a Global Logistics Specialist based at the OSRL Southampton base in the UK. He has been with OSRL since Feb 2014 when he first joined the Response department in Southampton. Mark spent four and a half years in the Response Department whereheI had the opportunity to work on a good range and variety of spills and exercises both in the UK and around the world.
Throughout his time with OSRL, Mark has also worked closely with the Cold Weather Working Group, participating in, and delivering training and exercises in extreme weather locations around the world. He joined the newly formed Global Logistics Team in June 2019, where he has worked with the team to:
Danny is a Global Logistics Specialist based in Singapore. He started off as an Oil Spill Responder in 2018, before moving into a more specialised logistics role in the newly formed Global Logistics Team in 2019. Danny covers all aspects of Logistics in the APAC region while working closely with the global team. His responsibilities mainly include ensuring that proper logistics processes and procedures are in place in the event of an emergency response, while assisting other OSRL departments with any logistical needs. Danny has a background in Mechanical Engineering, from his studies in Scotland.
Sean is a Global Logistics Specialist based in Singapore. He joined the company in 2018 as a responder and was in the operations department in Singapore until 2019 when I joined the Global Logistics Team. Prior to joining OSRL, Sean completed a degree in Chemical Engineering and worked as a process engineer on an alumina refinery. His responsibilities as a Global Logistics Specialist include:
Hello, I am Alice, and I am the Travel Manager for OSRL, I have been with the company for 10 years and I started out in reception in a temporary role but in my time here I have managed to find my career in travel. I have studied several Business Travel qualifications and sat on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Travel Management for four years and am often asked to take part in expert panels at conferences and events. I run the travel program for OSRL and manage our global contracts with our Travel Management Company as well as the traveller security aspects of our contract with our Travel Security and Medical Organisation, Visa Services, Ground Transport Services, and other aspects of our travel processes.
Hello, I am Amy, I am the Travel Coordinator for the UK, however the only full-time travel booker in the company globally. I have been with the company 4 and a half years and I came straight out of University holding a BSc (Hons) International Travel Management degree. Since being with OSRL I have also completed The Fundamentals of Business Travel qualification. I supply comprehensive support for all UK business as usual global travel. This includes flight/accommodation bookings, as well as processing visa applications, ensuring all safety and security protocols are met, that our travellers are medically travel-ready before departing for their travel destination.
