Effective response requires all of the parties involved in an incident to work together. In most cases a response is a multi-agency activity that includes the Government, industry, response organisations and other interested parties. The scale of the response will be dependent on the scale of the event.
The level of complexity of an incident response will require co-ordination between all parties to achieve the desired result. This may include, but not be limited to, fl ight clearances, customs, immigration, visa, material handling and other support activities.
Oil Spill Response will work with the responsible party or contracting party to achieve the most effective response possible.
